Little Shop of Horrors

by INVERCLYDE YOUTH THEATRE (KAYOS)

Friday 20th, Saturday 21st & Sunday
22nd October | Port Glasgow Town Hall
2hrs 30 mins | Ticketed here.

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

This magical production of the classic tale will be brought to life, and it promises to be an afternoon of laughter and delight. Aladdin, a young boy living in a faraway land, will be joined by Widow Twanky, Ticky Tocky and Sheree, three beautiful ladies who keep the kingdom clean, (not really). Jasmine and her sisters, desperate to escape the clutches of their mother, the Queen. Jafar and the Genie (Very Smelly) are also on hand to cause some mischief along the way. This wonderful show will include songs, dances, and laughter aplenty, and is sure to be a hit with the whole family. Don’t miss your chance to see and experience this magical production, brought to you by the Future Stars of Stage and Screen from the Learner Development Drama Class.
